The Sea of Monsters

Book 2 of the Percy Jackson series can only be described in one way WEIRD.Almost as weird as this picture, but that is off topic.Weird in so many ways for example a woman turns people into guinea pigs.Anyway the book is still great and in my opinion 3 and a half stars.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The breath taking Harry Potter series finale is action-packed.The battle for Hogwarts is epic especially

because of the new movie.I rate the book  the best book I've ever read.

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince

O.K, I don't know what Hannah did but this is about the 6th Harry Potter book.It was five stars and I will quit spoiling the ending of every book. The issue of the book is Harry and Dumbledore need to find Voldemort's horocruxes and destroy them. Horocruxes are objects that have piecs of sombody's soul and unless you destroy them you can't kill the person  who has their soul in the object.

Hey! This is his sister Hannah. Since all he's writing about is Harry Potter, I'm here to give you a new title. This book is about greek mythology, in the modern day. Once you're done you can see the movie!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheionix

This book is about when Harry is coming home from the park with Dudley ,dementors attack. Harry has to preform magic in order to banish  them one issue in front of Dudley!When he gets home he gets mail that he is expelled from Hogwarts.He goes to his room and Dudley goes to the ER room.Since the Dursleys are out the rescue squad gets Harry and they ride their brooms to Black house and they tell him he is not expelled but he has a hearing.He goes to his hearing and Albus Percivil Wolfrick Brian Dumbledor is there to save him.He goes to Hogwarts and has a tough time.He creates Dumbledore's Army because Umbridge is being a poor Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher.When "the Army' gets caught they have to use Blood Pens and write stuff on a piece of paper which carves on their hands.During the O.W.L.S. Fred and George fly in on brooms and set off fireworks. They leave Hogwarts to start a prank store.Harry goes to Umbridge's room to talk and find out if Sirius is at Black house. Because he and Voldemort have a connection and Voldemort put in Harry's mind that Sirius is at the department of mysteries being tortured. Harry is caught and has to show her Grawp,Hagrid's half brother who is a giant.Gwrap grabs Umbridge and does stuff and Harry escapes to go to the department of mysteries for Sirius. He and the most faithful of Dumbledore's Army go to the department of mysteries. While there Nevile finds a procphey with Harry's name on it.The death eaters show up they tempt Harry to give the prophcey to them.Well he says no with a stupefy spell to the gut and they run to a room where the Orderof the Pheionix fights the death eaters and Bellatrix LeStrange kills Sirius. Harry is mad and chases her right to Voldemort.Dumbledore shows up and fights Voldemort and Voldemort forfits and leaves but the Aurors see him and everyone belives that Voldemort is back.I give this book 5 stars.Oh and p.s.Brad there is no shame in saying you have not read Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter but the shame of not reading themand F.Y.I. I read Harry Potter in first grade and I am going to read Lord of the Rings.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

This story is the 4th Harry Potter and my 2nd favorite of the series.It all starts when Harry is sleeping his dream is like a vision he sees a man enter a house where the bad guys are planning to bring Voldemort back and when they notice the old man they kill him.Harry wakes up and he ,Hermione and the Weasleys leave for

the quiditch world cup. While in their tents death eaters attack and send  a dark mark in the sky.When Harry sees this he writes to his godfather,Sirius Black (spoiler alert for those who have not read book 3).When they arrive an Hogwarts they learn that a Tirwizard Tournament is going on at Hogwarts this year.When Triwizard Tournament happens 3 wizards compete to win a lovely trophy and earn lots of money.Harry and others get chosen and the first task was to steal a dragon egg. Harry does this and uses the egg to find out what the 2nd challenge is .Swim to save one you care for he saves Ron and does the 3rd task.An enchanted maze Harry finds the cup in the maze and it takes him to a graveyard where the bad guy brings Voldemort back. He and his accomplice Cedric Diggory try to escape but Cedric dies. Harry fights Voldemort and his friend Cedric comes out of his wand as a ghost and his mom and dad and others.When Harry escapes he finds a teacher is working for Voldemort AND NO ONE belives Harry that he is back.I GIVE THIS BOOK 5 STARS.

Harry Potter and the Prisioner of Azkaban

The book Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is about a boy who goes to a magic school and a criminal is on the loose and is on a direct route to Hogwarts.Harry learns that this criminal was his parent's friend and then he betrayed them to Voldemort. He goes to a shack and learns that Ron's pet is the one who betrayed his parents,Peter Pettigrew.He also learns that the criminal was framed and is Harry's godfather.When they leave their teacher turns into a werewolf and started attacking them. But then the criminal (you know what I am getting tired of saying the criminal so his name is Sirius Black) turns in to a dog and saves everyone (sorry,almost saves everyone).Then he rolls down a hill and almost looses his soul but Harry saves him with a patronus to keep the dementors away and then he thinks he sees his dad conjure a BIG patronous and Harry passes out.When he wakes up he and his friend Hermione travel back in time to save Buckbeak and when I say Harry saw his dad it was him.And then they save Sirius and send him away on the flying Buckbeak.I give this book 4 and a half stars because some parts were boring.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is about a house elf who visits Harry's house and tells him not to go to Hogwarts this year because he will be in grave danger.When his friend Ron saves him they try to get on the Hogwarts's Express, Dobby the house elf closes the entrance.They have to use Ron's flying car to get to Hogwarts. When they arrive they crash into the Whomping Willow and get in trouble.While at Hogwarts people get petrified.Harry learns that Tom Riddle is Voldemort and a basilisk has petrified  people.It also has kidnapped Ron's little sister, Ginny.Harry defeats the basilisk and destroyed the diary.I rate this book 5 stars and I think there was no problem with this book.

My First Post

I am going to use this blog to review books.I am 9 years old and my name is Jacob.

My first post is on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.It is about a boy who is a wizard and is M.V.W.(most valuable wizard).The issue is a stone that can make people immortal is going to be stolen.In the end Harry wins and the stone is destroyed.I give this book 5 stars.The beginning is slow but it gets better,by the end it is one of the best books I've read. Highly recommended for the whole family.
